What better way for your child to get into the Christmas spirit than by decking the halls of the Monteith House? Our annual Children's Pioneer Christmas Party is held in conjunction with the Albany Twice Around Christmas Parade. The party will begin at the Monteith House Museum. The children will sing carols, make a pioneer Christmas ornament, decorate the Christmas tree in the parlor, and enjoy gingerbread cookies and apple cider. Following the party, the children will ride in a horse drawn wagon and be part of the Albany Twice Around Christmas Parade. (This is optional.)
Children must be at least six years old to attend. The activities are geared towards children in first through sixth grade.
